On Friday 29th June I was at the Thames Valley Chamber of Commerce breakfast networking with Tan Dhesi the Slough MP. Always a pleasure to chat with Tan who is very easy to talk to and knows Slough and small businesses well. One fact about how vibrant Slough is, we now have 26 data centres in Slough which after Langley in the USA is next most popular place for data centres in the world. Slough is also now the most productive per capita town/city in the UK. Quite an achievement!
Slough is also a young city with a very low average age, thus there has been a push from the Council to improve the leisure facilities available within Slough – the new ice rink opened a few months ago and the new leisure centre is due to open within a few months.
