I don’t have much to say at this point on this topic except to add that I am totally incredulous that such a massive yearly event can have come to such a tragic end.
How the authorities could leave themselves in a position where such large crowds are not managed properly is unforgivable.
My thoughts go out to everyone who was injured and to those families and friends who lost loved ones in this horrific accident.
Let us hope that the Saudis take the necessary action so that something like this never happens again.
