We recently launched the new web site for Total Sounds, a DJ equipment supplier based in Reading Berkshire. Total Sounds has been a client for many years and had a few web sites as the Internet and their business has developed – particularly with the increased use of mobile phones – it has been necessary to revamp the site to keep up with these changes.
As well as a fresh new look this latest change has been made to make the site “responsive” – this means the site adapts depending on what is being used to view it. For instance, all elements of the site are visible on a desktop PC screen but less elements are visible when the site is viewed on a small mobile phone screen. This makes navigation and the user experience improve and for this site that is critical as it also has an integrated on-line shop. Several different layouts have been included so it covers the large screens, laptop, tablets and mobile screens. Try it out “for size” by looking at it on you phone or just by resizing the browser on your desktop.
