This was an Arts Council England funded initiative, and was designed to create a focal point for new arts and creative initiatives in Slough (it was one of twenty-one similar initiatives across England). The site promotes upcoming events, allows local communities to add new events and encourages participation in the project. The site design needed to be upbeat and visually stimulating for users. This project has now been moved from Kehorne control.
Kehorne wrote the technical specification (project scope) based on client supplied requirements, designed the website from the client’s brief and generated all the HTML from our designs, built and tested all the functions and added it to the background Content Management System. We hosted and provide technical support for the site. The client was able to manage the site through our custom-built Content Management System.
The whole site was built in PHP and MySQL, using our inhouse Content Management System managing the system. The HTML was built using Bootstrap, to ensure that it was fully responsive across all platforms.
